EQUILIBRIUM INSPECTIONS Inc. is a company specializing in quality residential property inspections , offered in both English and French, in the greater Montreal area and Laurentians. I am Equilibrium's main inspector, Laurent Benattar.
I am a Certified Professional Inspector with the Quebec chapter of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI® Quebec) and carry current errors and omissions and liability Insurance. I have a solid understanding of the different systems which comprise a house and how they interact. This holistic understanding does not only focus on the functionality of each individual part of a home (structure, roof, electrical, plumbing, foundation etc); but when one is out of sync, how it may affect the other systems and the building as a whole. The result? ...An inspection and report that combines a solid knowledge base with research to give you a comprehensive understanding of the visible condition of the property at the time of the inspection along with tips to maintain/improve it's condition and the reporting of major defects and safety issues. The InterNACHI®Code of Ethics and InterNACHI®Quebec Standard Of Practice are followed as a minimum baseline to ensure that you receive great service. Besides sound technical knowledge, during an inspection, I apply safe work-place practices to ensure your safety and mine. No one wants an inspection interrupted by an injury! What else can you expect from your inspector? During the inspection, a summary is given outdoors and on each floor (or for each unit in the case of a multiplex) of the my findings along with a home maintenance guide and answers to your questions while on-site. After an inspection, within 48-72 hours, your report is is submitted to you and I remain available for any questions regarding the report or require advice about repairs to be carried out, I am here for you as long as you own your home! |
